About Mike Wallace "Creating glass art is an immediate, creative and challenging experience where I use my vision and technical skills to create fine art. " Glass artist since 1997, fulltime for 8 years. Trained at The Toledo Museum of Art, Pittsburg Glass Center, Corning Museum of Glass and Seattle Hot Glass. Owns and manages private glass studio, Village Glass in Sylvania, Ohio, since 2002. Up to 20 other glass artists work out of the studio. Instructor, Toledo Museum of Art since 2005 - Intermediate glass blowing, Advanced glass blowing, Advanced techniques (encalmo, cane making, goblets) and other special demonstrations.
